Follow the on screen prompts to install the Prolific serial drivers and when completed the serial adapter should be assigned a COM port number.Now extract the contents of the zip file downloaded in step #1, navigate into the extracted files and double-click on "PL2303-Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1200.exe" to start the installtion process.Repeat steps 5-7 until the "Ports (COM & LPT)" section shows "USB-Serial Controller D" with an error icon to the left.
